I have been trying to come up with a catch phrase I can
popularize that would mean "tackling a tough problem". I think I finally have it.
Here it is – “wrestle the goose”. I like it, sounds like it is just waiting to be unleashed. But, now that I’ve written it, I am not so sure; I think it could sound a bit
vulgar. I mean, if you ask your mom
where your dad is, and she answers, “don’t bother him, he’s wrestling the
goose.” I am thinking I am not going to
bother him.

Yeah Jim you gotta dilemma. On one hand wrestling a goose sounds difficult, and therefore a good candidate. However the very next thought was indeed a cute way of implying self gratification. I was and am appropriately shocked.
ReplyDeleteAll that together I would go with it. Why wrestle this goose any further, besides it will sort out the prudes.
Thanks for the reply Daidhaid. It was between that and "spear the pig". Which also sounded good at first...
